Corporate Social Responsibility
The desire to ‘give something back’ is a great feature of our people – shown by the large number of projects we’re involved in.
We run a variety of education programmes such as Junior Achievement, mentoring students and our ‘Get Cents’ money management programme that targets early school leavers, homeless people and young people with intellectual disabilities.
20×20 aims to create a measureable cultural shift in society through a 20% increase in participation, media coverage and attendance in women’s sport by 20×20. Find out more here.
We support a range of charities and we encourage our staff to fundraise for charity, with the firm making a contribution to all fundraising efforts. We also have a ‘CSR Bank’ where staff can use two days per year to work for charitable organisations.
We have reduced our carbon footprint by over 10% with initiatives such as moving to renewable energy, increasing our recycling initiatives and promoting sustainable travel.
KPMG sponsors Enactus, the world’s largest university-based partnership between business and higher education supporting social change.
Our employee based Project Bright initiative encourages staff to identify social issues and then come up with unique solutions that can make a real difference.
KPMG Ireland won the ‘Best creative staff engagement’ award at the Allianz Business to Arts Awards 2015 for our St. Michael’s House Multi-Sensory Story project.
