Evan O’Callaghan – Associate, Audit
I started in KPMG in October 2016 after completing my degree in Business Studies in the University of Limerick. Working in Audit offers plenty of rewarding challenges with a wide variety of clients. I have worked across asset management, aviation leasing and insurance with each sector offering new challenges and opportunities to learn. From the moment I started I received top training from the Business School which has helped me develop key skills when working with clients in diverse sectors.
Jessica Phillips – Associate, Tax
Since joining the Tax Consulting Practice, I have gained exposure to a number of different clients including personal tax clients, private Irish businesses and international clients. My current work involves the provision of tax advice and compliance services to clients from a variety of different industries ranging from property development to medical services. I have gained invaluable experience while training at KPMG with the support of my colleagues who are always willing to share their knowledge and expertise.
Mary Flanagan – Associate, Corporate Finance
I joined KPMG in September 2016 after completing a degree in Business and Economics from Trinity College Dublin. Corporate Finance has given me the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across a wide range of industries, enabling me to continuously develop new skills. My current client work ranges from debt and equity financing to mergers and acquisitions, something that I find truly interesting. The team provides me with an opportunity to interact with and gain support from colleagues at every level.
Lorcan Glancy – Manager, Transaction Services
Working in the Transaction Services practice is diverse and exciting. I have been involved in different projects across numerous industries including financial services, construction, agri-tech and healthcare. The calibre of colleagues I work with highly motivate me and I have gained a first-hand insight into the variety of work within the world of professional services. This has really increased my business acumen. The deals I have worked on present exciting challenges which has given me greater responsibility in my role here.
Aoife McAdam – Associate, Restructuring
I joined the Restructuring & Forensic practice in 2016 and since then, I have been involved in advising businesses on implementing strategies based on the current economy and market trends. Each client presents new challenges and I’m continuously learning throughout my time with the firm. The support of my colleagues and the training I have received internally has enhanced my development and how I can contribute to my team.
Maeve Condon – Consultant, Management Consulting
Working in the Management Consulting practice is dynamic and challenging. The exposure I have received has enabled me to work with a diverse range of clients. I have advised companies on developing their business and IT strategies, meaning that my role is continuously changing. The structure of the team has allowed me to work with senior staff and grow further within my role. KPMG has provided me with an excellent platform to develop as a professional business advisor.
Shane Gorman – Associate, Risk Consulting
My work in KPMG has given me an in depth insight into the challenges that face modern businesses. I have already gained experience in a variety of industries such as insurance, banking, aircraft leasing and regulatory. Risk consulting assesses the challenges that businesses face and then provides solutions to mitigate such risks. Working in this area has allowed me to be involved from identification right through to the delivery of solutions for clients.
